PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
HR STRATEGY AND PLANNING:
- Execute HR strategies and initiatives that support the overall business strategy and drive organizational success
- Contribute to the development and implementation of HR policies, procedures, and practices in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Monitor industry trends and best practices to ensure the company remains competitive and performance driven in terms of HR practices and programs.
TALENT ACQUISITION AND MANAGEMENT:
- Manage end-to-end recruitment across all assigned countries, ensuring efficient sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding processes.
- Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce needs and design effective recruitment campaigns for technical and managerial roles.
- Use digital recruitment tools, social media platforms, and networks to attract top talent.
- Oversee onboarding and induction programs to ensure seamless integration of new hires.
- Maintain compliance with local hiring practices, labor laws, and internal approval protocols.
- Ensure effective collaboration with the Talent Acquisition colleagues.
- Oversee the onboarding of new employees, ensuring all checks are completed to high standards, review job offers and employment contracts, and ensure seamless integration of new hires through the induction programs
- Solve bottlenecks in HR processes and implement effective solutions to ensure a seamless and effective HR process across the entire employee lifecycle.
EMPLOYEE RELATIONS, PERFORMANCE AND ENGAGEMENT:
- Act as a trusted advisor to employees and managers, providing guidance and support on HR-related matters.
- Promote a positive work culture, fostering employee engagement, and addressing employee queries and concerns in a fair and timely manner.
- Serve as the first point of contact for all employee relations issues, grievances, and workplace disputes.
- Handle disciplinary actions, from investigations to hearings and documentation, ensuring fairness, transparency, and legal compliance.
- Manage performance-related concerns, supporting managers in setting performance improvement plans (PIPs) and conducting reviews.
- Train managers on performance conversations, documentation, and progressive discipline.
- Maintain up-to-date records of all disciplinary and employee relations matters in line with HR governance and privacy requirements.
- Drive the performance appraisal cycle through HRMS platforms, ensuring timely completion and constructive feedback; work with line managers to develop smart goals
OFFBOARDING
- Manage all employee terminations, including voluntary resignations, performance exits, redundancies, and mutual separations.
- Manage redundancy planning and execution, including consultation processes, selection criteria, communication, and compliance with labor law.
- Ensure all performance exits are properly documented and supported by objective evaluation and due process.
- Conduct exit interviews, analyze attrition trends, and prepare reports highlighting turnover causes and recommendations.
- Coordinate final settlements, recoveries, and handovers with Payroll, Finance, and IT.
- Ensure that all exit-related processes comply with employment laws, contractual obligations, and internal HR policies.
HR COMPLIANCE AND LOCAL AND CROSS BORDER ADMINISTRATION:
- Ensure compliance with relevant employment laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, HR databases, and other HRMS (Zoho)
- Utilize HR technology tools to streamline HR processes and enhance data accuracy and efficiency.
- Stay informed and ensure full compliance with local labor laws, employment standards, evolving employment regulations in all relevant jurisdictions and international HR best practices, and update HR policies and procedures accordingly.
- Develop, update, and enforce HR policies, employee handbooks, and standard operating procedures.
- Liaise with legal counsel and labor authorities as needed for complex employment matters.
- Ensure proper documentation and filing of all employment records in accordance with data protection and confidentiality standards.
- Oversee HR activities across multiple countries, ensuring consistent standards while adapting to local contexts.
- Coordinate with local HR service providers, payroll agents, and legal advisors.
- Oversee expatriate employment, including visa processing, work permits, and relocation logistics.
- Provide HR support for cross-border employment arrangements, including secondments and international moves.
COMPENSATION, BENEFITS & PAYROLL OVERSIGHT
- Oversight and maintenance of compensation structures, employee benefits, and allowances across assigned countries.
- Support annual salary reviews, promotions, and incentive programs based on performance and market benchmarks.
- Partner with Finance to ensure accurate and timely payroll administration.
- Conduct salary and benefits benchmarking to ensure competitiveness in each market.
TIME RECORDING AND DELIVERY
- Accurately record time and value of service when working on projects and business line linked activities or required to do so.
- Monitor own productivity and review productivity and performance against deliverables.
- Follow a disciplined approach to submitting timesheets and tracking deliverables.
- Ensure all daily and weekly deliverables are met, all deadlines are always adhered to and quality is ensured with no errors that impact the business and the Company
TEAM COLLABORATION AND COLLECTIVE PERFORMANCE
- Work collaboratively with the regional HR colleagues to achieve team objectives and shared outcomes.
- Participate actively in HR team meetings, knowledge sharing sessions, and collective projects.
- Contribute to the development of a cohesive and supportive HR culture, emphasizing trust, respect, and shared accountability.
- Support fellow HR team members during high workload periods or cross-border initiatives. Be the buddy to take on the team's responsibilities when asked to do so.
- Contribute to joint HR goals, recognizing that team performance and cooperation form an integral part of performance evaluation.
OTHER DUTIES
- Undertake the role of director, trustee, nominee, manager, partner, secretary, authorized signatory or any related position in internal entities or client entities of Amicorp Group, where necessary and required by the Management.
- Undertake such other duties, as may from time to time, be required by the Management or/ and Group Human Resources.
Qualifications, Skills, and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; HR certification is a plus
- At least 8-10 years of progressive experience in HR management roles, preferably in a similar industry or organization. HR Shared Services or Virtual HR Operations in an MNC will be an added advantage;
- Thorough knowledge of HR practices, policies, and employment laws and regulations
- Demonstrated experience in talent acquisition, performance management, employee relations, and HR operations and technology
- Hands-on with high level of personal accountability for delivering quality and timely work;
- Completes own role largely independently within defined policies and procedures;
- High level of computer literacy with excellent hands-on experience with MS Office and HRMS/Recruitment Tools.
- Exhibits strong leadership, social & interpersonal skills; a positive can-do attitude and creativity.
- Excellent 'client' (stakeholder/ candidate) facing skills. Well-developed spoken and written communication skills and the ability to tailor style to relevant audiences, and successfully liaise with people. Excellent English language fluency; additional languages preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills, solution driven, highly organized and detail-orientated with good decision making and time management skills. Independent, hands-on and takes accountability to deliver solutions and results.
- Anticipates and adapts quickly to changing organizational and business needs. Able to make decisions and solve problems.
- Ability to adapt and work under pressure in a smaller, dynamic, flexible performance driven team environment; along with being part of a bigger matrix organization. Proven leadership and team player skills, with ambition to excel in the role.
