Eric Boes

Eric Boes is an international tax professional with over 37 years of experience and holds a master’s degree in Fiscal Economics from the University of Tilburg, the Netherlands. He started in 1987 as an international tax advisor at Arthur Andersen. He switched in 1999 to in-house tax departments of multinationals, first at Philips Electronics, followed by 11 years as Global Head of Tax at Atos Origin.

Eric joined the Amicorp Group in 2012 as Global Head of Tax and Regulatory Compliance Services, including FATCA and Common Reporting Standard («CRS»). In subsequent years, Eric became responsible for product and business development concerning global tax developments to multilateral automatic exchange of information («AEOI») that led to global tax transparency, as well as the global tax developments of Base Erosion Profit Shifting («BEPS») which have an impact on corporate structuring. The team expanded its tax compliance services with BEPS impact assessments, classification, and reporting under the Economic Substance Requirements (ESR), Mandatory Disclosure Rules, and Transfer Pricing Documentation.

In 2022, Eric joined the Group Board of Amicorp Group as Chief Tax Officer and Head of the Group’s Internal Organization.
