AI & Automation Product Lead (Problem Owner, Structurer, Delivery Driver)
The AI and Automation Product Lead is responsible for defining, building, and scaling internal automation and AI-driven products across the organization. The role holder is responsible to identify, design, and manage delivery of automation and AI use cases by translating business needs into structured, executable solutions. The role holder has a mandate to convert complex business problems into high-impact, deployable automation and AI solutions—fast. This role sits at the center of the transformation effort. The organization does not need more ideas—it needs well-defined, high-impact problems translated into executable solutions. Unlike a traditional project role, this position owns end-to-end product lifecycle — from ideation to deployment and adoption — ensuring that automation and AI solutions are embedded into daily workflows and deliver measurable impact. The role holder builds and continuously manages a pipeline of automation and AI initiatives that eliminate manual effort, improve process control, increase revenue capture and deliver measurable business outcomes.
Primary duties and responsibilities
Responsible for taking problems from ambiguity → structure → delivery → adoption
Strategic Mandate – The role is accountable for:
- Turning operational processes into repeatable, scalable products
- Driving automation and AI adoption across all functions
- Ensuring solutions are used, not just built
- Creating a product mindset within internal operations
- Delivering measurable improvements in efficiency, accuracy, and scalability
Product Ownership & Strategy – Own the Problem Definition
- Define and own the roadmap for automation and AI products across the
- Identify high-impact opportunities across fund administration, operations, fiduciary and corporate services, Finance, Risk, and compliance
- Prioritize initiatives based on business impact, scalability, risk reduction
- Spend significant time with business teams to understand how processes actually work (not how they are described), identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and manual dependencies, detect areas where work is duplicated, revenue is not fully captured, and decisions are slow or inconsistent
- Challenge assumptions and not accept “this is how we do it today” as a valid
- Prioritize Ruthlessly – Not all problems are worth solving. You will assess use cases based on impact (cost reduction, revenue increase, risk reduction), feasibility (data availability, process maturity), and maintain a prioritized backlog of initiatives. The expectation is that you focus only on what materially moves the business
Product Design & Development – Translate Problems into Solutions
- Translate business requirements into clear product
- Work with AI Engineers, automation developers, process analysts, to design solutions that are scalable, user-friendly, compliant
- Define product features such as automated workflows, AI-driven validation tools, reporting dashboards, exception management systems
- Convert business issues into clearly defined workflows, structured requirements, rule sets and logic (e.g., billing rules, onboarding steps, approval flows)
- Define “current state” vs “future state”, ensuring solutions are standardized across teams and jurisdictions, eliminating unnecessary complexity
- Your output must be something that engineers can build without
Automation and AI Product Development – Drive Delivery End-to-End
- Own delivery from concept through to Coordinate with process analysts, engineers, data teams; Remove blockers quickly and Ensure timelines are met
- This is not a coordination role—you are expected to drive execution
- Own the development of internal products such as NAV automation engines, reconciliation automation tools, capital call and distribution workflow, investor reporting systems
- Ensure products support for maker–checker frameworks, audit trails, exception-based processing
- Define and implement AI-driven solutions, including anomaly detection tools, document processing systems, AI copilots for operations, predictive analytics tools
- Work with engineers to embed AI into workflows, not as standalone
User Experience & Adoption (Critical)
- Ensure products are intuitive and adopted by business
- Gather user feedback and iterate
- Drive behavioural change across
- Ensure products replace manual processes
- A solution is only successful if it is used. You will work with business teams to embed solutions into daily workflows; ensure processes change, not just tools; monitor usage and address resistance
Data & Integration
- Define data requirements for
- Ensure integration with fund accounting systems, CRM platforms, workflow tools, data platforms
- Ensure consistency and integrity of data across
Product Delivery & Lifecycle Management
- Manage the full product lifecycle – ideation, design, development, deployment, iteration
- Coordinate releases and
- Track product performance and usage
Stakeholder Management
- Act as the bridge between business and technical

OTHER DUTIES
- Undertake the role of director, trustee, nominee, manager, partner, secretary, authorized signatory or any related position in internal entities or client entities of Amicorp Group, where necessary and required by the Management.
- Undertake such other duties, as may from time to time, be required by the Management or/and Group Human Resources.
Qualifications, Skills, and Experience
- 8–12 years’ experience in consulting, product, or financial operations
- Strong understanding of financial services workflows
- Strong ability to structure complex problems into clear solutions, design workflows, communicate clearly
- Detailed understanding and hands on experience with automation and AI capabilities
- Commercial awareness (understanding of cost and revenue drivers)
- Exceptional client facing skills. Well-developed spoken and written communication skills and the ability to tailor style to relevant audiences and successfully liaise with people at different levels. Excellent English language fluency: additional languages preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, solution driven, highly organized and detail-oriented with good decision making and time management skills. Independent, hands-on and takes accountability to deliver solutions and results.
- Ability to adapt and work in a smaller, dynamic local team environment with tight deadlines; along with being part of a bigger matrix organization. Proven team player skills, with ambition to excel in the role and grow into fund organization and structuring.
