Building a Better Future for People and the Planet

— We are committed to being a responsible corporate citizen. We do that through our internal policies and through the Amicorp Community Foundation ("ACF"), which strives to empower local communities and create lasting structural change that ensures a better future for people and the planet.
Sustainability & ESG at Amicorp

At Amicorp, we’re focused on conducting business in a manner that prioritizes sustainability, ethical practices, and responsible corporate citizenship. We do this by:

  • Prioritizing financial stability while benefiting stakeholders
  • Fostering employee engagement and growth for societal health
  • Minimizing environmental impact through emission reduction and sustainability
  • Actively supporting the local community via the Amicorp Community Foundation

As Environmental, Social, and Governance (“ESG”) concerns continue to gain prominence on the executive agenda, we acknowledge the significance of our role in addressing them. Amicorp is committed to providing quality service, ensuring a safe and healthy workplace for our employees and minimizing our carbon footprint. We comply with all relevant environmental legislation and strive to adopt ESG best practices in all our endeavors.

We demonstrate a deep commitment to governance as an integral component of our ESG strategy. Through a dedicated governance framework, we ensure that decision-making processes align with ethical standards and regulatory requirements. These ethical considerations also extend to our investment practices, focusing on sustainable and responsible financial products.

We have integrated ESG considerations into our operational policies and procedures, aligning business strategies with sustainable principles. This includes incorporating ESG criteria into investment decisions and risk management processes. We have a holistic approach to responsible financial practices with transparency as a cornerstone of our governance strategy.

ACF Projects

ACF Projects You Can Get Involved With

Philippines

AmiForest

We have tracked and offset our carbon emissions from flying by planting trees since 2015. Our AmiForest reforestation project began in the Chanco region of Chile, and is now moving on to the Philippines, where we are establishing a Coconut Tree plantation. Besides continuing to mitigate our environmental impact by planting trees, the coconut husks, shells, and other byproducts will be used as sustainable alternatives to traditional fuels, and will provide work and economic welfare for local communities.

Bali

The Amisewaka – Desa Les Community Center ("DLCC")

This center delivers vocational and life skill training to young people with minimal schooling empowering our students to find meaningful jobs and lift them out of poverty. We have a 100% pass rate, and 98% of our graduates have obtained employment.

Curaçao

Tuma Mi Man Daycare Center

In Curaçao, our Tuma Mi Man (“TMM”) daycare center provides high-quality childcare and education at low to no cost- to parents with little means. A third of the children at TMM, ranging from infants to 12 years of age, hail from Curaçao’s poorest neighborhoods.
